Bloomberg Radio anchor Hearing departs

Roger Hearing

Roger Hearing, anchor of “Daybreak Europe” for Bloomberg Radio, has left to pursue new opportunities.

Prior to joining Bloomberg, Hearing had been with the BBC for 32 years. He presented “World Business News” and reported and presented for BBC World Service’s “Newshour,” the “World Today,” “Europe Today”, and “World Update” programs.

He also served as the BBC’s East Africa correspondent in the 1990s and reported from Iraq, Afghanistan, Angola, Mozambique, Lebanon, Burma and Peru, covering nine wars and 22 elections.
