Theo Argitis, the Ottawa bureau chief for Bloomberg News, is leaving the organization after nearly 24 years.
His last day is Friday. He has been bureau chief since January 2005. “I’ll have more to say about what’s next for me in coming days. It will be a completely new chapter in my professional life,” he wrote on Twitter.
Argitis previously was a reporter for Bloomberg in Athens, Greece.
He was also business news editor for the Athens News and managing editor for New Europe in Athens.
Argitis holds a bachelor’s degree from McGill University and a master’s from the University of Toronto.
