Bloomberg Law reporter Isaiah Poritz is now covering California courts for the news organization.
He previously was based in Washington covering technology law for the past two years.
Poritz interned for OpenSecrets and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
He is a graduate of Emory University, where he was editor in chief of the student newspaper The Emory Wheel.
