Bloomberg News has hired Nikki Waller as managing editor of equality and work.
She will start next month.
“I’m thrilled to join an organization so deeply committed to news, and one that is thoughtfully investing in coverage of equality, work and leadership — especially now, when these conversations are reshaping how businesses operate,” she wrote on LinkedIn.
Waller is the coverage chief for Life & Work at The Wall Street Journal. Previously she was the deputy corporate coverage chief, and before that led our Live Journalism Team, served as Management & Careers bureau chief, and oversaw personal finance and travel coverage on WSJ.com.
Waller joined the Journal from the Miami Herald in 2008 and holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and a master’s degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
