Bloomberg News has hired Ian Salisbury as an editor on its money, management and equality team.
He has been at Barron’s since April 2024 as a senior investing writer.
Before that, he worked on Buy Side, the Wall Street Journal’s affiliate-driven shopping and review site, where for the past two years he oversaw money coverage.
Previously, Ian was an editor and staff writer for Money magazine, where he wrote feature stories about topics like investing, retirement and taxes and covered the 2016 presidential election. Earlier in his career he spent a decade writing for several Dow Jones publications including the Newswire, SmartMoney, Marketwatch and the WSJ Digital Network.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and a master’s degree from Northwestern.
