Bloomberg hires Ravikumar as team leader in London

Sachin Ravikumar

Bloomberg News has hired Sachin Ravikumar as a team leader for UK breaking news and global watch in London.

He was a correspondent for Reuters in London covering general news from across the UK. Over nine years at Reuters, he has helped run various breaking news teams, reported on business and general news from India and worked as a desk editor.

Ravikumar interned for the Times of India in Bangalore.

He holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from St. Joseph’s University.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
