Bloomberg hires Nimmo as editor on global biz team

Jamie Nimmo

Bloomberg News has hired Jamie Nimmo to be an editor on its global business team.

He has been associate business editor at The Sunday Times in London. In his new role at Bloomberg, he will continue to write.

He previously was a City reporter for The Main on Sunday and a market reporter foe the Evening Standard.

Nimmo holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Warwick.

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
