Bloomberg News has hired Courtney McBride to cover diplomacy and national security in its Washington bureau.
She previously was a State Department reporter for The Wall Street Journal for the past four years.
McBride previously was associate editor and managing editor at Inside the Army and a reporter at Inside the Pentagon. She also worked at the National Journal as a staff writer and as an editor.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
