Amy Bainbridge
Bloomberg News has hired Amy Bainbridge to cover the pensions industry in Australia.
Bainbridge is currently the national consumer affairs reporter for the Australian Broadcasting Corp. She returned to the role after a stint as Southeast Asia correspondent, based in Bangkok.
She has also worked in newspapers and commercial television, and spent two years working for China Central Television in Beijing. Her reporting has been recognized with three Melbourne Press Club Quill awards and the Ruby Hutchison Award for coverage of consumer issues, and has helped to bring change for consumers in telecommunications and banking.
Bainbridge has covered four Paralympic Games as a commentator and has a Master of Middle Eastern and Central Asian Studies.
