Bloomberg’s Ottawa bureau has hired Jay Zhao-Murray to be its economics data editor.
He starts Feb. 5.
He has been a foreign exchange analyst for Monex Canada for the past two years. Previously, he was a research assistant at the Bank of Canada and a consultant at MNI.
His commentary has been featured by news outlets that include Bloomberg, Reuters, and the Wall Street Journal, in radio interviews, and on national television with Global News.
Zhao-Murray holds a bachelor’s degree from Western University in economics.
