BizTimes Milwaukee journalist Anderson is leaving

Lauren Anderson

Lauren Anderson, associate editor at BizTimes Milwaukee, is leaving after 5 years to go freelance.

She joined in 2017 as a reporter covering health care, insurance, education and nonprofits in Southeastern Wisconsin.

Before that, she was an education reporter at Waukesha Freeman, focusing on K-12 schools in Waukesha County, including covering higher education and local news. She was also an associate editor at DeForest Times-Tribune in Wisconsin.

Anderson has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
