The Economist has tapped Hollie Berman to be a news editor in New York.
Berman joined The Economist at the start of 2020 as a social-media fellow, and took on the role of social-media editor later in the year.
Her day-to-day work involves collaborating with editorial to adapt The Economist’s journalism for output across the paper’s four main social media platforms: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. She has also written for various digital sections of the publication.
Berman is a graduate of University of Cambridge.
