Kristen Bellstrom has joined Bloomberg Opinion as a senior editor.
She previously was at Barron’s, where she was managing editor for enterprise and investigations.
Before Barron’s, Bellstrom was executive editor at Fortune. She joined Fortune in 2015 to take over as the lead writer of the “Broadsheet,” and at the time the fledgling newsletter had fewer than 15,000 subscribers. Under her leadership, the newsletter had more than 100,000 daily readers.
As an editor at Fortune, stories that she shepherded have won SABEW, New York Press Club, Headliner and Excellence in Financial Journalism awards, just to name a few honors.
She also worked at Smart Money and Money magazines.
