Nicholas Jasinski, a senior writer at Barron’s covering the Federal Reserve and the economy, is leaving the publication for an opportunity outside journalism.
He has been in that position for the past year.
Jasinski has been at Barron’s since 2018. His coverage has included commentary and analysis of a wide range of topics in financial markets, from the media and telecom beat, to the latest trends in investing, to macroeconomics and Federal Reserve policy, to company and fund profiles. Jasinski has been a member of Barron’s stock-picking team, authored the Trader and Sizing Up Small Caps columns, and written the Review & Preview newsletter.
He is a three-time Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing Best in Business Awards winner, including for newsletter writing and for his coverage of the media and entertainment industry in the midst of transformative M&A and the “Streaming Wars.”
He is a graduate of McGill University.
