Chelsea Schiff, Barron’s head of design and visuals, sent out the following:
We are excited to announce Molly Cook Escobar is joining the Barron’s visuals team as a data visualization and graphics editor.
Molly joins us from the New York Times where she just completed a fellowship as a Graphics Editor. During her fellowship, Molly mapped wildfire destruction in Maui and created visualizations surrounding the January 6th insurrection.
Prior to her fellowship, Molly worked at the Brookings Institution where she played a key role in constructing Brookings’ Ukraine Index — including developing an interactive dashboard of charts and maps that monitored refugee displacement, inflation, and military aid.
Please join us in welcoming Molly to the newsroom. She starts today in our New York office.Chelsea / Dave / Bob
