Rosalind Adams

Barron’s editor in chief David Cho sent out the following to the staff:

All,

We’re excited to announce that Rosalind Adams is joining Barron’s as an investigations writer.

Rosalind will play a key role as Barron’s continues to build out its investigative capabilities, holding companies, industries, and Wall Street to account through deeply reported stories.

Rosalind previously spent seven years on the investigations team at BuzzFeed News. She broke stories about a psychiatric hospital chain holding patients longer than medically necessary, the failures of date rape drug testing at labs across the U.S., and how the world’s largest credit companies ignore reports of fraud at the expense of consumers. She also spent a year in Hong Kong where she covered the 2019 protests until the outbreak of Covid.

Her work has twice been named a Livingston Finalist and has won awards from SABEW and the National Press Foundation. She holds degrees from UCLA and Columbia University.

Please join us in welcoming Rosalind to the team. She will start Oct. 24.
