Axios rebrands newsletter to focus more on energy

Axios has rebranded its daily energy and climate newsletter “Generate” into “Axios Future of Energy.”

It will be written by Generate co-author Ben Geman and Amy Harder, who joined Axios as national energy correspondent. The newsletter will report on the people, companies and technologies that are shaping these major developments.

Geman is a senior energy reporter at Axios. He has covered energy and environmental policy in Washington for almost two decades, with previous roles at National Journal, The Hill, and Environment & Energy Publishing.

Harder has more than 15 years of experience covering climate and energy. She joined Axios at launch in 2017, following previous roles at The Wall Street Journal and National Journal, and later helped build Cipher News into a platform dedicated to explaining climate technologies. She is based in Seattle and is the inaugural journalism fellow at the Institute for Climate and Sustainable Growth at the University of Chicago.
