Elias Weiss has joined the daily online newspaper and magazine InMaricopa as managing editor. Recently, he served as Arizona politics correspondent at The Daily Beast and a news reporter at Phoenix New Times.
Weiss also worked as a digital media coordinator and editor at Chatham Star-Tribune in Virginia and a sports reporter at Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, where he was also a lifestyles reporter.
He is a four-time Virginia Press Association gold award-winning multimedia journalist.
Weiss graduated from the University of Arkansas.
