Teo Armus is joining the local government and politics team at The Washington Post to cover Arlington and Alexandria.
His new role begins May 24. Previously, he was a reporter on the Morning Mix team for nearly two years.
Prior to joining the Post, he was a reporter at The Charlotte Observer. He was also a reporting fellow at Texas Tribune and has also previously interned at The Washington Post, NBC News and MSNBC.
He was also deputy news editor and senior staff writer at Columbia Daily Spectator.
Armus is a graduate of Columbia University in New York.
