Washington Post reports 18.4 percent increase in visitors to site in August

The Washington Post has reported that more than 92 million people visited its site in August of this year.

This marks an 18.4 percent increase in visitors to The Post year over year, according to Comscore.

The number of people who visited the site using a mobile device also grew by 24.1 percent over that period.

Comscore ratings show that CNN.com had the highest number of visitors in August (131.6 million), followed by the Washington Post (92.2 million) and then the New York Times Brand (85.3 million), Vox Media (77.9 million), Buzzfeed (72 million), USAToday. com (68.6 million), HuffPost US (41.2 million), Wall Street Journal Online (39.5 million) and The Guardian US (32.8 million).
