Sara Sorcher has been appointed London hub editor at The Washington Post, which includes breaking-news reporters, editors and other journalists, and it operates seven days a week during what is overnight and the morning in the U.S.
Previously, Sorcher held the post of deputy editor, PowerPost, a Washington Post vertical.
Prior to joining the Post, she was a White House editor at USA Today. She has also served as a deputy cybersecurity editor The Christian Science Monitor and was a national security correspondent at National Journal.
She has also worked freelance for ABC News, The New York Times, Time and GlobalPost.
Sorcher is a graduate of Tufts University.
