Washington Post names Olorunnipa White House bureau chief

Toluse Olorunnipa

The Washington Post has promoted White House reporter Toluse Olorunnipa to the post of White House bureau chief. As per the Post:

“Tolu will lead an all-star team covering the Biden White House as it navigates economic and political headwinds and foreign conflicts.”

Previously, Olorunnipa was a political analyst at CNN. He was a Florida correspondent and then served as a Washington correspondent at Bloomberg, and previously a business and politics reporter at The Miami Herald.

He formerly was a multimedia producer at The Wall Street Journal.

Olorunnipa has a B.A. and M.A. from Stanford University.
