Rushard Anderson has joined The Washington Post as a social media editor. In his new role, he will maintain the Post’s main accounts on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Telegram.
Recently, Anderson was at NBC Sports Boston, where he worked as a multiplatform social media producer.
There, he also served as a researcher for the 2020 Olympics and was an important part of the outlet’s social coverage for the NBA Finals.
Anderson also worked as a video producer and social media manager for ESPN Radio.
Anderson has a bachelor’s degree from Hampton University and a master’s degree from Georgetown University.
