NewsNation has hired veteran journalist Leland Vittert as an anchor/correspondent covering national affairs and to deliver special reports across the network’s prime-time weeknight newscasts.
Later this year, he will also begin anchoring a new national newscast.
His new role begins May 17.
Vittert joins from Fox News Media where he spent more than 10 years. There, he has worked as a Middle East correspondent and as an anchor/correspondent.
Prior to joining Fox, he anchored the weekend news at KDVR-TV and was a reporter for WFTV-T, KATV-TV, KNWA-TV and WMTV-TV.
Vittert graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in broadcast journalism.
