Rachael Venables, a correspondent at LBC, Global, has left to join Sky News as a journalist.
Venables had been with Global for more than eight years, previously serving as a freelance journalist and then as a broadcast journalist. She also worked freelance for BBC Birmingham.
She has also worked at BBC Radio Leeds and BBC Radio York.
Venables has a bachelor’s degree from the University of York and a master’s degree from the University of Sheffield.
