Tortoise Media editor d’Ancona set to depart

Matthew d’Ancona

Matthew d’Ancona, editor and partner at Tortoise Media, is set to leave. His last day is Feb. 10. His tweet reads:

“I’ll miss the talented friends I’ve made there in the past four years enormously. Thank you, too, to all who’ve read and commented on my Monday political column and Thursday.”

He served as a visiting research fellow at Queen Mary University of London, as a contributing writer at The New York Times and as a columnist at the Evening Standard. He was also a columnist and political editor at GQ Magazine.

He also wrote a column for Guardian News & Media; d’Ancona held editorial roles at The Spectator and the Sunday Telegraph.

Matthew d’Ancona graduated from the University of Oxford.
