Charlotte Ross will join The Telegraph as deputy editor of features and lifestyle, responsible for the magazine, travel, fashion, culture and the daily features section.
Ross begins in November.
Ross will join from the Evening Standard, where she worked for the last 16 years, recently as acting editor. Before that, she served as publisher. She also held the posts of deputy editor and executive editor.
She was an assistant editor at The Independent, The Scotsman and The Sunday Herald.
Ross said:

Ross graduated from the University of Glasgow.
