Victoria M. Walker

Victoria M. Walker, senior travel reporter at The Points Guy, where she covers the pandemic’s impact on travel, has left.

She is a frequent guest on shows such as ABC News’ “Good Morning America,” NPR’s “All Things Considered,” CNBC and MSNBC. She is also the founder of Vikkie Ventures, where she wrote about traveling as a Black woman.

Walker has also served as an adjunct and then full-time multimedia journalism lecturer at Howard University. She initially began her career as a video editor at The Washington Post, where she spent nearly three years on the breaking news video desk.

There, she was part of the team that won the Society for Features Journalism’s Diversity in Digital Features award in 2019.
