The New Yorker has promoted Alp Ozcelik to the post of product manager. Previously, he held the post of associate product manager focusing on newsletter products and working with the engagement and growth teams on various special projects.
Prior to that, he was a product relationship manager at Condé Nast for The New Yorker, Bon Appétit, Epicurious, Teen Vogue, them, and Architectural Digest.
He was also at BuzzFeed for more than 4 years where he worked as a product manager on the Support Rotation team.
He also served as a senior product specialist focusing primarily on the user experience of both BuzzFeed.com and BuzzFeedNews.com. He has also worked on the BuzzFeed app.
Ozcelik was also a community manager for Turkey at foursquare and an assistant production manager at Imprint Projects.
Ozcelik is a graduate of Brown University.
