The Independent appoints Gill video news editor

Kate Gill

The Independent has promoted Kate Gill to video news editor. She will work on the video editorial and daily production teams. Recently, she was acting video editor and a senior short form content editor.

Previously, Gill worked as a video producer and reporter for The Sun and US Sun at News UK. She was a video news reporter for the Daily Star Online at Reach and a video journalist at Carters News Agency Ltd. in New York.
