The Guardian hires Rios as senior reporter

Edwin Rios

Edwin Rios will be joining The Guardian as a senior reporter covering racial equity. Currently, he is a reporter at Mother Jones, where he has worked for 7 years.

He has also covered city government, business, transportation and development issues for The Oregonian. He has also reported for Conde Nast and The Medill Justice Report. He has also interned at Fast Company.

Rios was also Brooklyn bureau reporter at the New York Daily News.

Rios graduated from Northwestern University.
