Chan joins Reuters as digital producer

Veta Chan

Reuters has hired Veta Chan as a digital producer.

She joins from Doteasy Technology Inc. in Vancouver, where she was a content specialist.

She was formerly an assistant video producer at Fortune and has worked as a freelance local reporter/producer at NBC News. She was also a video assistant at The Associated Press and has also interned at Frontier Myanmar in Yangon, Myanmar.

She was also an intern at The South China Morning Post.

Chan has a master’s degree in journalism from The University of Hong Kong and a bachelor’s degree from City University of Hong Kong.
