The Daily Beast hires Boryga as justice reporter

Andrew M. Boryga has joined The Daily Beast as a justice reporter, based in Miami, reports Politico.

Boryga is an award-winning writer and educator who will bring 12 years of experience in print and online journalism to the newsroom.

Recently, Boryga was a general assignment reporter at Sun Sentinel Media Group. He has also worked as a featured contributor at Pop-Up Magazine Productions.

He has also worked freelance for The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Atlantic, The Paris Review, NPR, The Fader, Splinter, The Miami Rail, and other outlets.

He has also worked as a metro intern/freelancer and news assistant at The New York Times. He was also a staff writer at Cornell Daily Sun and a reporting intern at The Norwood News.

Boryga is a B.A. in English from Cornell University.
