The Athletic hires Keefer as national features writer

Zak Keefer

Zak Keefer has joined The Athletic as a national features writer. Recently, he worked at WISH-TV Ch. 8, a CW-affiliate in Indianapolis, Ind.

Keefer’s tweet reads:

“Grateful for 9 unpredictable, challenging seasons on the Colts beat — and a sincere thank you to all the players, coaches and execs who allowed me to tell part of this team’s story.”

He reported for The Indianapolis Star for more than seven years.

Keefer has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Indiana University Bloomington and a master’s degree in journalism from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis.
