After the controversial announcement that it would shutter its sports department, The New York Times is moving fast to bolster The Athletic as its sole voice in sports coverage.
Below is an excerpt from The New York Times:
The Athletic today announced a new daily podcast for football fans around the world, offering insightful, expert reporting that allows listeners to stay on top of the biggest football stories each weekday.
