Bruno García Gallo has been upped from senior editorial manager to editorial director at Telemundo.
In his new role, he’ll be responsible for coordinating editorial content and overseeing daily multiplatform coverage of the Noticias Telemundo digital team.
García joined Telemundo in 2017 as an associate producer, working his way up to editorial manager in 2019. He was bumped up to senior editorial manager two years later, prior to his current promotion.
García previously spent 15 years at Spain’s El País newspaper and website, working his way up from night shift copy editor to political reporter, and investigative and enterprise journalist, before becoming an editor, managing a 10-person team.
