Talcott departs Daily Caller for Semafor

Shelby Talcott

Semafor has hired Shelby Talcott as a reporter in Washington, D.C. Talcott will cover Donald Trump and national Republicans.

Recently, she was a senior White House correspondent at The Daily Caller. She joined in 2019 as a fellow, and later served as a media reporter, field correspondent and senior media reporter.

She freelanced for Blank Slate Media.

Talcott has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Iowa.
