Luca Evans will join the Southern California News Group as a USC beat writer. He begins on August 14.

He contributed more than 20 long-form and game stories on local athletes and programs to the Los Angeles Times’ high school sports beat. He also worked as a podcast research assistant at iHeartMedia and wrote for USA Today Sports Media Group.
Evans graduated from Chapman University in California.
