Siegel swaps Daily Beast for The City

Harry Siegel

Harry Siegel will join The City as a senior editor, departing his post as a senior editor at The Daily Beast.

Siegel is the creator and co-host of FAQ NYC, a local news podcast headquartered at NYU’s McSilver Institute for Poverty, Policy and Research.

His work has also appeared in City Journal, Commentary, The New Republic, The New York Observer, The New York Post, The New York Times, The Public Interest, Vice Magazine, The Village Voice and The Wall Street Journal.

Siegel was a senior editor at Politico and served as editor-in-chief of New York Press. He was also Op-Ed page editor and editorial writer at The New York Sun.

Siegel graduated from Brandeis University.
