Sembhi joins BBC staff full-time

Aisha Sembhi

Aisha Sembhi, a freelance journalism researcher at the BBC has joined the team full-time as a journalist and assistant producer on the sports team.

Previously, Sembhi covered the British F4 and W series motorsport news at FT Feeder Series. She also worked as a politics editor at Durham University’s student newspaper Palatinate. She was also elected president of Durham University’s History Society for the 2020 – 2021 academic year.

Sembhi has a bachelor’s degree from Durham University and is an NCTJ-certified journalist.
