Aisha Sembhi, a journalism researcher at the BBC, has joined the team as a journalist and assistant producer on the sports news team.
Previously, Sembhi covered the British F4 and W series motorsport news at F1 Feeder Series. She also worked as a politics editor at Durham University’s student newspaper Palatinate. She was also elected president of Durham University’s History Society for the 2020 – 2021 academic year.
Sembhi has a bachelor’s degree from Durham University and is an NCTJ-certified journalist.
