Gadi Schwartz, a correspondent at NBC News has been appointed anchor of a new 8 p.m. program “News Now.”
Schwartz will anchor the program from Los Angeles, “making it “one of the only national news broadcasts originating daily from the West Coast,” Janelle Rodriguez, SVP of NBC News Now announced Monday.”
He joined NBC News in 2016 as an LA correspondent. He has also hosted “The Overview” on Peacock and frequently appears on NBC News Now.
Previously, he reported for KNBC-TV Ch. 4, the West Coast flagship of NBC News in Los Angeles.
