Claire Rush has joined The Associated Press staff full-time as its Oregon state government reporter. Since June 2022, she held the post of statehouse reporter via Report for America.
Previously, Rush worked as a desk reporter and news anchor at French international TV station France 24’s English channel. She also held the posts of news editor, producer and reporter at Radio France Internationale in Paris.
Rush has a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. She obtained two master’s degrees in Paris from L’Université Bordeaux Montaigne and L’université Sorbonne Nouvelle.
