John Pullman, Reuters global managing editor, Visuals, participated in the MINDS International Virtual 2020 conference and spoke on a panel discussion, ‘Corona Impact on Media and Consequences for News Agencies.”
The discussion outlined the challenges and opportunities Reuters has experienced throughout the ongoing pandemic.
Pullman has been with Reuters for 10 years, joining as an editor, Reuters Live Service. He was then promoted to the post of head of news output, Reuters TV, and then made global editor, Reuters video, news before holding his current post.
Pullman also worked at Al Jazeera for 5 years, joining as head of output and then serving as manager, output renewal. He has also worked as a program editor at ITN and was head of news and current affairs at Granada Television Manchester.
Pullman is a graduate of the University of Oxford.
