Reach plc has appointed John Townley to serve as a correspondent. In his new role, he will cover the football club Aston Villa.
Townley joined Reach plc in June 2021 as a football writer for its title Birmingham Live. Before that, he worked as a media assistant at Cheltenham Town Football Club in England.
Townley has a B.A. from the University of Gloucestershire.
