ProPublica taps Callahan to lead global public health team

Patricia Callahan

ProPublica has promoted Patricia Callahan to senior editor, overseeing the new global public health team. Previously, she was a senior reporter.

Callahan worked at the Chicago Tribune Media Group for more than 14 years on the investigative team. She formerly reported for The Wall Street Journal, covering the food, pharmaceuticals and publishing industries. She also wrote for The Denver Post.

Callahan has a B.S. in journalism from Northwestern University.
