Ursula Perano will join Politico as a reporter on the Congress team. She will join from The Daily Beast, where she covered Congress and congressional campaigns as a politics reporter.
Prior to joining the Daily Beast in November 2021, Perano was a legislative reporter at Politico and co-author of Politico Pro’s “Day Ahead” newsletter on Capitol Hill goings-on. She was a newsdesk reporter at Axios and interned at Politico, CNN, the Smithsonian Institution and WTXL-TV Ch. 27, an ABC affiliate in Tallahassee, Fla.
Perano graduated from Florida State University.
