Philly Inquirer’s Gutman takes on new health beat

Abraham Gutman

Abraham Gutman, a mental health reporter at The Philadelphia Inquirer wrote on LinkedIn:

“I want to share with you a recent change to my beat as a health reporter at The Philadelphia. My new main focus is going to be the Philadelphia medical workforce. I want to tell the story of the majority of the medical workforce: nurses, pharmacists, midwives, techs, EMTs, doulas, phlebotomists, community health workers, and many others.”

Gutman has also freelanced for various outlets, including the Philadelphia Inquirer, Huffington Post, Philadelphia Magazine, The Crime Report, Inside Higher Ed and the Christian Science Monitor.

Gutman has a B.A. and M.A. from Hunter College in New York City.
