Philly Inquirer taps Weiss as digital editor

Evan Weiss

Evan Weiss will be joining The Philadelphia Inquirer as a digital editor. Recently, he was managing editor, news at Neighbors, a local news project focusing on crime and safety stories in Los Angeles.

He was also a digital news editor at the Burlington Free Press in Vermont, where he managed a team of reporters and oversaw coverage of business, food, travel, transportation, development, the arts and the environment.

He also served as a national growth editor at McClatchy and was a social media editor and then a senior social editor at The Daily Dot.

Weiss has a B.A. from Kenyon College.
