Julia MacCary has joined People Magazine as a writer and producer on the digital platforms team. Recently, she freelanced for Variety, where she also interned.
MacCary held the posts of writer, assistant editor and editor-in-chief at Scene + Heard, an arts and culture publication at Northwestern University.
